March Workshops @ Lomography Gallery Store Manchester

We had a blasty blast last month with our February workshops so how about a few new ones. We've even got a few extra special ones this month!

Saturday 3rd March, 2pm
Go Wide Or Go Home

Want to shoot some great scenic shots? Want to get up close and personal? A fan of self-portraits? La Sardina is the perfect wide angle camera for all of the above! We’ll introduce you to all of the different designs of this sardine can camera, and give you a presentation on how to work it before letting you take it to the streets!

Tickets are £10 which includes a presentation, lend of a camera, a roll of film and 10% off the processing

Sunday 4th March, 12pm
Lomowalk: Spinning at Salford Quays

It’s time to go Spinner crazy with Lomography Gallery Store Manchester! We’ll be heading down to Salford Quays to catch the water, the sky, the buildings, everything all on one photo! Get an introduction to the camera, check out the new Motorizer accessory then we’ll head out.

Tickets are £15 which includes a presentation, lend of a camera, a roll of film and 10% off the processing.

Saturday 10th March, 2pm
A Weekend Dedicated To The Diana F+, Day 1

The introduction to the Diana F+ has been our most popular workshop so far, so we’re dedicating a whole weekend to it! Day 1 will give you all the info you need to successfully shoot a roll of medium format film!

Tickets are £10 (or £15 for both days) which includes a presentation, lend of a camera, a roll of film and 10% off the processing.

Sunday 11th March, 2pm
A Weekend Dedicated To The Diana F+, Day 2

For day two of our Diana F+ workshop we’ll mix it up a bit by using the 35mm Back & shooting 36 shots on one of the four shooting options that the back allows.

Tickets are £10 (or £15 for both days) which includes a presentation, lend of a camera + 35mm back, a roll of film and 10% off the processing.

Saturday 17th March, 2pm
Lomowalk: Go Green For Paddy’s Day

Thanks to all our lovely clones, we have numerous green cameras that are calling out to be used on St Patrick’s Day! We’ll introduce you to them all, the Lime Green Fisheye2, the Green Sprocket Rocket, and the Fern Green Diana Mini. We’ll take them to streets in honour of St Patrick, and may even have a Guinness en route!

Saturday 24th March, 12pm
Mini Madness at the Museum Of Science and Industry

What better way to shoot planes, trains, and automobiles than with the industrious little workhorse, the Diana Mini? Join us as we explore the Museum of Science & Industry with the tiny little half-frame dream machine! We’ll give you a presentation on the little treasure and then head down to MOSI for the afternoon!

Sunday 25th March, 2pm
Lights, Camera, Action with the LomoKino!

Still upset about not winning that Oscar for Best Director? Well maybe we can help, come and check out the LomoKino, our gloriously analogue movie-maker! We’ve got a dress-up box to rival even Lady Gaga and we’re happy to share it with you to get some awesomely whacky home-made movies! This is a rare, free workshop so book fast to secure your place!

Saturday 31st March, 2pm
An Introduction to Lomography and the LC-A+

What the hell is Lomography? We’ve been here for months now and in case you missed our first explanation it all, here’s another one for you to get stuck into! We’ll also then go into greater depth on the LC-A+ before letting you loose to shoot a whole roll of film!
