Two active lomographers from Alberta have joined forces to share the joy of analogue photography with their communities.
Introducing Analogue Alberta
Analogue Alberta was started by two active members of the Lomographic Society: mafiosa from Calgary and weedos from Edmonton who want to share Alberta’s analogue uniqueness with the world.
They will be organizing events throughout Alberta showcasing their mutual love of analogue photography and who knows, possibly branching out into other areas of analogue renaissance. If you live in or are originally from Alberta, Please join them at AnalogueAlberta. They are hoping to have their inaugural event in the central location of Sylvan Lake, Alberta near the end of April this year. There will be a film swap, a Lomowalk around the town and beach area, possibly a BBQ on the beach and perhaps some keynote speakers as well.
They are also hoping to be submitting Alberta themed articles right here in the Lomography online magazine on a regular basis.

Thats really cool guys! Here in Auckland we have no real Lomography presence at all that I'm aware of, it may be that the few of us there are should take some inspiration from you.

@yyyhorn, Awesome :-) @kaimcn & @peeweewbangwatcha, We'd love it if you could make it. Perhaps we can look at car pools from Calgary and Edmonton. Any Volunteers?? :-)

@adam_g2000. That's for the comment :-) I think it would be great if you got something going in Aukland. I'd be more that happy to help on the techie side of things if you need.
