The Lomography Embassy Store Budapest organized the first light painting workshop last December 2011. Five enthusiastic lomographers, a few Lomography camera loaded with film, perfect place (with lot of space), great mentor, and lighting sources... What else did we need?
Diana F+, yellow neon background
The workshop started at 16:00 at Flashback Photo Studio. After a short introduction, held by Kristóf Váczi from Lomography Budapest, we started the game: we shoot with Lomography Diana F+ and Lomography Sprocket Rocket using Lomography ISO100 film and used some stuff listed below:
- tripod
- colour and white Christmas tree lights
- white and yellow neon tube
- flashlights
- red bicycle lamp
- umbrella
- fashion dummy
We made the pictures in teamwork, everybody had their own role in every scene: switching on/off or holding the different lights, painting/drawing with flashlights or just posing motionless. We liked the results very much and hope you like too!
The team: Miklós Harmat, Zsolt Szabó (szzs), Kinga Keresztes, Ádam Hencz, Virág Kiss
I think this was the best activity on that dark, rainy winter day! Thanks, Lomography Budapest! Thanks, Flashback!
