I Wanna Be An Analogue Film Director @ Lomography Gallery Store Singapore

January is a month full of resolutions. How about taking up a new hobby and learn something new? Learn how to be a new film director... the analogue way!

Its the beginning of 2012 and Lomography Gallery Store Singapore kicked off what is set to be a smashing new year with the first of our weekly lomo-tastic workshops – the LomoKino I Wanna Be an Analogue Film Director workshop. For the film fiends who were with us last Sunday, we hope we rocked your socks off with our line-up of activities!

We had SINdie and our Singapore own grown film supremo, Michael Tay to take us through the tips and tricks of shooting short films. Michael shared us tips and his source of inspiration for all his short movies. All this over super yummy popcorn and fizzy cola!

After which, armed with a heavy mix of wacky ideas, a handful of creative minds, rolls of 35mm film, and some awesome nifty hand tattoos (which we all named “MOMO!”), our bunch of enthusiasts had a go at it with Lomography’s one and only analogue movie maker camera, the LomoKino!

With this video as inspiration, we challenged them to come up with their own take on an ideal day in the life of MOMO.

Special thanks to SINdie for the tie-up!

Enter a new analogue dimension with the LomoKino. Lomography’s own 35mm analogue movie camera allows you to capture action and immortalize your story on film! Shoot 144 frames on any 35mm film and create your own cinematic masterpieces. Want to watch your movie the old-school way? We also offer the LomoKino and LomoKinoscope package!
