The Queen: Cecil Beaton Exhibition

Cecil Beaton was an official photographer for the Royal Family. He has numerous photos of the Royal Family, especially the Queen. In this upcoming photo exhibition, rare photos of the Queen will be displayed. Read on for more details.

Cecil Beaton was a celebrated fashion photographer who had a career at Vogue Magazine. In 1939, he got an invitation from the Buckingham Palace to photograph the Queen. The photo session was expected to last only a few minutes, but Beaton’s photo session with the Queen lasted for 3 hours. From then on, Beaton became a photographer for the Royal Family, taking their photos from the 1930’s up to the 1960’s. In celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, rare photos taken by Beaton will be displayed. See more details below.
