Spotted: Daydream Lily with Analogue Cameras

Think doilies and fresh flowers, tea cups, vintage treasures and handmade creations. If you like these things as well as Pink Holgas, you will love this new collection inspired by a LomoAmigo.

I noticed the beautiful window display in a surf shop during my lunch break one day at work. I was pleasantly surprised that a surf shop had such a whimsical display in their window and I loved the imagery. The clothing and the chairs took me back to my childhood.

I open up Frankie, my favourite Australian magazine, and I see a page spread of the collection and a beautiful model holding a pink Holga gently to her face and I am intrigued, what is this ‘Element eden’ brand inspired by Daydream lily? And why is the name so familiar. You can also spot a Diana Mini and a TLR camera in the other photos.

A blog leads me to a blog and it all clicks. This is the second collection that this top blogger and LomoAmigo Liss Winnell has collaborated with the Element brand. The designs are inspired by some of her favourite artists and have a lovely vintage but still contemporary feel to them. The whole series is summed up beautifully by the punchline- Think doilies, and fresh flowers, tea cups, vintage treasures and handmade creations.
