Lomographers burn off the Thanksgiving excess with a nice walk and a couple drinks around the Mission.
This past Sunday Lomographers joined up to help each other battle post-Thanksgiving food ills. Photobooth SF was the meeting point and a walk around Valencia Street and a few drinks were on the agenda.
The always colorful Valencia Street is one of the more photogenic areas in the Mission. San Francisco Lomographers turned their lens towards the numerous shops, abandoned theaters, murals and group favorite: floating quinceanera dresses.
Of course, Lomographers busted out their favorite cameras and neat gadgets ranging from Lubitels, Fisheyes and Action Samplers. Even local publication Mission Local came along for the walk. You can check out their article here.
After our jaunt around the block we ended up at Doc’s Clock for a couple rounds and some great conversations. We even made some new photography buddies at the bar!
Thanks once again to everyone that showed up and made this one so fun!
