Engadget.com's Review on the LomoKino

2

Our LomoKino made a great impression and travelled online from Paris to the USA. If you want to discover the LomoKino from Engadget.com’s point of view and learn a bit more what real French accent is, you should watch the video after the break.

As a reader of Engadget for some time now, I am very happy to see that our little LomoKino made its way to this website — which is usually deals with the latest high-end cameras and everything related to digital world. What do I like the most about this review? It’s great to see that even if everyone wants their gadgets to be better, quicker, and with more storage & more megapixels, there is still room for the good old film that needs time, care, and attention. This is definitely the future of movie making!

“You won’t find any sound, many frills, or, for that matter, a ton of convenience, but that’s also the idea — to return filmmakers to the roots of early silent cinema, with a pared down device that reignites some of the photographic mystery lost with the dawn of the digital age.”

Check this video out wherein you will be able to listen to the French accent of our France manager, Alexia, showing you how the LomoKino works!

Thanks to Amar Toor, our special tester and journalist for visiting us in our Marais Gallery Store!
