Since Super-8 is so hard to get in some places, a quarter frame 35mm motorized sampler would be fantastic. Just imagine 96 full motion frames on a single roll of 24 exposures!
An analogue version of God told me that it's a movie camera that runs on regular 35mm film. It will be silent and a roll of 36 will net about a minute of motion film.
I am guessing it will be a rejumble of existing components, in the same way that La Sardina is a relaunch of the Sprocket Rocket. A Super8 camera strikes me as a little too high tech from a production line that makes simple plastic cameras with only two shutter settings, so I'm guessing a stop-motion octomat type camera will be the final product.
@lsi's writing something about "premiere" and "red carpet" there http://www.lomograph(…)ld-premiere so i think it's definitely going to be something movie-related... still hoping for super8 film but the motor drive/minimovie thing would be great too :)
The videos are certainly making it look like a Lomography movie camera using 35mm. Bound to be a film-eater but that's fine, it should drive more sales of film which in turn might take the film manufacturers sit up and take notice as sales go through the roof (I hope). If it is a 35mm movie camera I look forward to using it when my band next make a video!
I still want a 120 camera that you can wind and rewind like the Sprocket Rocket. Would be really cool if you could change the frame size like the LC-W and do a seamless half frame pano with it. C'mon guys, this is a no brainer! :p
if its a video camera, i would expect it to be a Kinetiscope - type thing because they use 35mm film for short film clips. it would be a lot easier to get film since any 8mm film is really hard to find now

A film projector that lets you play your negatives like a movie would be fun.

its something with a massive flash. Super8 is great but the only developing place I know of in Europe is in Germany and very very expensive

A camera that can be used to create mini movies? Maybe it will do 72 half frames on 35mm @10fps. That would be cool! 7 second mini movies :)

Mmmm... I agree, a camera that can take photos one after the other very quickly, so that it's like a mini movie on the roll of (35mm) film!

I'm pretty sure my first guess of a stop-motion camera was correct....

Using some Spinner action but by moving the film and not the camera. Could be cool. Almost like rotoscoping
