Lomography & John Waters 'Love At First Sight'
El señor Waters & Lomography got on quite well; some may say that a bit too well
You already know the guy: he is an American independent cinema icon and veteran director of such cult movies as Pink Flamingos, Polyester and Hairspray (to mention but a few of his most famous works). However, if you thought Mr. Waters –the Godfather of Trash– is a just a film director, you were wrong. He is also an actor, writer, screenwriter, photographer, art collector, professor, orator, communicator and a transgressor both in his work and private life.
I love analogue were his introductory words to the Lomographers gathered at Teatro Lara. The audience wasn’t even able to blink while he delivered his monologues about principles, anecdotes and obsessions.
Neither did his slick moustache move when he took a good look at our big LomoWall in the hall of the Teatro Lara. Surprised and amazed, he made the following awesome love statement: I love analogue, I love photography, I love this fantastic lomowall
