An artist from Ivory Coast found a new way to intervene in his photographs.
The Ivorian (those born in the Ivory Coast, according to wikipedia!) Ben Heine decided to combine his multiple talents to innovate in his photographs. He intervenes in the images with drawings – almost perfect – which complement, amuse or deconstruct the images.
It’s worth checking the work of this artist! Maybe someone here in the community can also make these interventions?

Awesome! The artist seems to play with the same theme like Magritte did (e.g. here: http://www.mcs.csuea(…)agrit6.html), but the other way round: While surrealist Magritte wants to say: There actually is only white canvas behind the painting and NO hidden motive, Ivory Coast does the contrary: He visualized what could be! Nice!

My Flying 120N Holga Working in the photography department at the South Australian School of Art for the last six years, I have seen photos shot from just about every angle conceivable. Developing my own work to stand out from the norm led me to combining a few obsessions; Holgas, electronics, and radio-controlled multirotor aircraft.

this blows my mind! Is it a drawing in front of another photo? Otherwise it would surely be impossible to get the perfect perspective. amazing!

Very creative though it seems like the hand and sketch must be superimposed over the photographs, not taken during. Either way the technique rocks.
