The weather is sunny and fresh today here in Cannes, so let's get out of the Palais and walk a little on this famous Croisette...
So, the Croisette. This large street made famous thanks to the Film Festival (obviously) its 5-star-palaces and all the luxury and fashion shops (“tschitt tschitt pas de marque” is a quote from a great french movie that took place in Cannes, 5 Piggies to the first people to give me the title of the movie in the comments :) ) you’ll find all accross the place. While walking here, you’ll come accross people who are here for the Festival, and people living in Cannes trying to keep linving as if nothing special was happening in their town…

Obviously, the Croisette is much more crowded during the two weeks of the Festival. The whole part of the Croisette facing the Palais is a parade of limousines, and you can’t just help but wonder who might be in this black car…
I’m telling you, this is Faye Dunaway…! unless it’s Johnny Deep… c’mon, look closer, through the tinted glass…!
It is also a parade of barriers, ladders, cameramen and photographers. Everyone’s trying to get their picture of some famous people trying to walk the streets without being recognized…
And despite this whole excitement and glitter of the Festival, Cannes is trying to remain the same coast city as it is the rest of the year…

I wish our studio would have had a movie to bring to Cannes; could have been a great reason to travel and take pictures. Maybe next year.
