360° of lomography.
April’s first Saturday was a very special day for us, Brazilian lomographers. The first Brazilian LomoMatrix happened at Ibirapuera Park. It was a perfect day… to stay in. Right on time, the sky was falling down and the streets became rivers. There was doubt all over Ibirapuera: " – Isn’t the rain gonna stop?", " – Do we have enough light?", " – Will we have enough people?" etc.
People were arriving little by little, but the crowd was growing nonstop. When we realized, we had nearly 30 brave lomographers who didn’t mind the storm or the risk of underexposure. And then I realized: " – This is really happening!" And while we were looking for the perfect light for our precious shots, guess what? The weather cooperated and the storm became a very light pouring rain, that later became no more than a cloudy sky. Our luck had just begun to change.
In spite of talking about it, you’d better see the videos edited by our beloved Mirela Dias and Ricardo Saraiva. We should thank, of course, our fortunate participants, who believed and stayed till the end: Adriano Trenahi, Aline Rodrigues, Andre Velo, Beatriz Sanches, Claudia Pessoa, Fernando Wada, Gustavo Gadini, Iris Silva, Jhover Borin, Jorge Sato, Juliana Cunha, Luiz Fogaça, Marco Guimarães, Mario Rosa, Marsha Grem, Matheus, Patricia Nascimento, Plínio Martins, Rafael Munhoz, Renato Buti, Ricardo Saraiva, Samuel Chiovitti Alexandre, Thiago Dutra, Vivi Lamana and Wagner Moreira.
