Searching for something can never be too fast – we've spent the last days tweaking the search on Lomography and can now present you the result.
We hope it’s that fast…
Wanna give it a try? Type something in the search field on the top right or try one of these searches: fisheye, actionsampler, holga, diana, diana mini, piggies, fixed gear, lubitel, vienna, orangebird, scanner, sprocket rocket, love, smena, melbourne, fuji instax wide and redscale (these are the most popular ones this year).
Let us know if the search is faster for you, too! And post your favorite searches in the comments!

Yay - my home Melbourne is one of the top searches! I miss that place...

I still don't understand how can I find lomo homes from some particular city. When I type palermo in search line, lomo locations do come up, but not the lomo homes

"We are optimizing the search right now – everything will be back soon! Please use the navigation above to explore our site." ;)

@scorpie: sorry for that – but as a lot of people give it a try we find some small bugs along the process. should be fine soon!

I'd like to have the opportunity to search a photo by the name (if I know it) !
recurving
@superlighter: the title is now added to the search index – but might take some time until all photos are updated!

@superlighter: it will take some time until the indexes over all photos are updated!

@recurving ok! as usual I'm always so impatient like a vicious kidl! :) however this is a great implementation on the site, very usefull for all the time we have to search for a photo to link to an article or to a blog entry! Thanx a lot guys!

what about my question? please answer!thanks
recurving
@neja: sorry for the late reply: we are looking for a way to include city and country to the search results. but as the index is created only at certain times and the privacy setting can change, we have to find another way of doing so…

thanks

@recurving Can you use boolean operators in searches? It would be good to be able to use ", +, - and * to increase accuracy or truncate searches. When i've tried before i've had limited success. Being able to exclude search terms from a broader search would be really good. Thanks
