The Activity Stream is a tricky issue – we had to fine a balance between too many and too few notifications and how to show them. Every day there is more stuff one can do here and be notified about. And we don't want you to get lost in notifications.
To make things easier we’ve split up the notifications into four tabs:
- All activity: showing all notifications in one stream
- All activity by others here: all notifications concerning you, be it comments or likes on your photos, walls, articles, blog entries and new followers
- All activity by others elsewhere: everything the people you follow were up to: new albums, blog entries or walls – these events won’t show up in the counter above (as we’ve made this one strictly about you)
- All activity by you: everything you did one the site

I like it but now I can't see my own album notifications. I published a new album just now and it's not on my stream but I can see it under the "recent albums" tab?! Would be sad if my friends won't see my album notifications...

and now I noticed that new notifications in general aren't displaying in my home or other homes, for example I wrote some comments on photos but the notifications don't show up in my home nor in the home of the other user?

Think its a super new tool..........but i havent tried it yet and im getting no notifications and the comments im leaving arent showing up on my home, my friends or even on the lomo home page.

Love that the walls are back and the "Notifications" stream on the homes is a great addition. I like seeing what my other lomo-friends are doing and this feature makes it much easier to see when folks have published new albums and stuff. Thanks for the revamp!
