It's one of the most hated enemies of the "serious" photographer but here at Lomography, we embrace all our flares!
If you ever entered into a photography class, you might remember being told not to shoot directly into the sun because, a) you might damage your eyes, and b) it produces flare and ghosting in your photos! While the former is certainly bad, the latter has its place in Lomography! You can catch those streaking rays of light bathing your subject in an otherworldly glow or just shoot from the hip and wait for the surprise when you develop the roll!
