Light leaks and happy accidents with the Argus C3
After failing a whole roll using the Argus C3 my friend got me for my birhtday, I attempted one with color. Now, after putting the roll in, I’d known I fucked up. I FOR SOME REASON kept winding the film in after putting it in with the back open. Usually, I tug on the winder thing a bit just to make sure the film caught where it’s supposed to and close the back before continuing to wind it and proceed to shooting.
However, that’s not what i did. Obviously I knew it was going to have some light leaks, but I was HOPING the whole roll wouldn’t be ruined.
Well it wasn’t! I got like 14 pictures out of a 24 exposure roll and they’re LIGHT LEAKED LIKE FUCKING CRAZY, but aside from that, you can see the overall tone this camera gives film.
It’s very dreamy, and I think I’m in love. I can’t wait to shoot another roll.
