In 2009 the Russian lomographic community grew rapidly. So our friends from the Russian Embassy decided to start 2010 with a competition - for a whole year and with monthly winners - to feed the photographic hunger!
During the last time the lomographic community Russia grew faster than we could count. The new generation of eager lomographers makes it now even harder to choose the best from the best lomographic masterpieces!
To give all of them the possibility to show and compete with their analogue work in different categories, we (your friends from the Russian Embassy) initiated a one year long contest!
We proudly present to you, ladies and gentlemen, the RUSSIAN MONTHLY LOMOGRAPHIC CONTEST 2010!
And let us introduce to you the most independent jury you can imagine – the lomographers themselves!
The 10 monthly winners (who will be rewarded with a camera each) will be chosen by the majority of the votes from the community!
Additionally the photos of the month will take part in the big PHOTO OF THE YEAR contest. Those winners will be chosen by a special jury and will receive a priceless surprise! All the other participants still have the chance to be part of a lomowall at the end of the year!

- 7. Made in USSR (Lubitel, Zorki, Kiev, Fed, Smena, Vilia Auto, Sokol, Chaika, Agath)
- 8. Pinhole (Diana Pinhole, Diana Multi-Pinhole and any other pinhole cameras)
- 9. My dear friend lomographer (there must be a person with camera on the picture)
- 10. X-file (secret nomination we announce every month)
