2010 Lomography FAQ Feedback/Suggestion Round

Got a question that you've been bugging to ask or a tasty tidbit to add to our ever expanding FAQ? Something unclear with some questions from the current FAQ? Ask away now!

Albert Einsten once said: “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” You can never have too much information, in my book. It is essential to have a voracious appetite for knowledge, both in everyday life, as well as in Lomography. That is why we compiled and created the Lomography FAQ which houses dozens upon dozens of nifty tidbits about everything Lomography!

Well, we would love to hear your thoughts on the FAQ! We’re human, so we might have missed out on something or something is unclear or inconsistent and we want a clean slate for the new year. You could also tell us if you want something in particular to be added to the FAQ to make yours as well as everyone’s lives easier. Just place a comment here and we will work on your suggestions as soon as possible. Thanks!

    why not use video tutorials for the camera and film questions? that would be nice, although the step by step instruction does a great job.
    what happened to planned "photo labs" section? ok thats not directly related to the FAQ but its just a curiosity that has to be answered.hehe
    but im happy with the new FAQ section, keep iup the great work LSI! =)

    @cinzinc - thanks! for video tutorials we're trying to have more, although we're focusing on the most basic ones at the moment. re: the 'photo labs' section there is a problem with regards to misrepresentation of the Photo Labs (as rates/policies/contact information changes over time) so we shelved this project. We're not sure as to when this will be coming back or if will ever be implemented.

    I have often thought it could be nice to have a discussion forum, to easier help and get help sharing experience. The FAQ and tipster are great, but could be nice to be able to ask questions of the whole community.

    I see you have several How Do I... for cameras. One thing I encountered a lot was people not being sure how to change lenses on their Diana+. There are several online resources confirming to twist firmly. Maybe this should be added as an official LSI FAQ?

    @lawypop: e-mail them to me aaron.roselo@lomography.com :)
    @hisgirlfriday: sadly, no. the diana mini is too small for the instant back, but we'll add this on the FAQ!
