We all know how great the Holga is. In fact, I can boldly state that aside from the LOMO LC-A this is one of the cameras you should have in your bag. It’s simply that good. But sometimes, its impractical to use, whether it be because of its bulky nature or a lack of 120 films. That shouldn’t stop you from getting those dreamy, soft focus results though! You can opt to carry around the Holga 135BC instead! Full of all the specs its bigger brother has, the Holga 135BC is essentially the same package but lighter and uses ordinary 135mm film available anywhere! Those are great pictures! I just don't know if I'd be able to bear not having the lovely square images. I own two Holga cameras(120N and 120CFN), but this one is definitely intriguing!

It is a sturdy, well-built camera but I am bummed that Holga continues to lie to us about having 2 apertures. They could have fixed this when they developed the 35s but didn't. I have hacked all my Holga 120s so I can shoot either f/8 or f/16 and I started to hack the 35mm but gave up when I saw that the shutter release connection was a little complicated. Has anybody figured out how to take the Holga 35 apart without permanent damage?
