For this edition of 'Doubles with You', azurblue and kylewis did a medium-format hook-up and did some crazy experiments with the Diana F+ and the Holga!
For this swap, kylewis shot the first layer on velvia 50 expired and took the pics with her Diana, choosing different lenses, and using the Diana Splitzer.
She shot the roll in Great Britain, mostly in a park. She sent me a drawing of the different shots she made.
I wanted to shoot the second layer with my Diana camera but it didn’t work like I hoped. The film was blocked in the cam after one pic, and I was afraid to break my Diana,
So I opened the diana at night, under a blanket, rewinded the film, and put it in my Holga Then I shot the twelve views in Italy, not very far for the french border.
I gave the roll to the lab, asking to cross-process it. The colors were sometimes weird, so I scanned them twice, with two different tones.
In conclusion, despite the little problem with my diana, this swap was a real pleasure, and when I see the results, i’m very satisfied, so do Ky, I hope !
