What resulted were some lovely and well traveled doubles with creamy green and yellow tones. So the moral of this story is when you get asked to do doubles with an amazing lomographer; don't hesitate and just do it.
When mephisto19 had first suggested to me that we do doubles together I was a little bit hesitant. My local lab had just closed down and I was in the process of finding a new one. I had two other rolls of film for doubles lined up to shoot. And to top it off I was about to head out to Chicago for an undetermined amount of time. After a couple minutes I came to my senses and thought, “The real question here is how can I possibly pass this up.” So I quickly told mephisto19 I’m all in and he then sent me out a roll of Fuji Sensia 200 which he had already shot.
I received the roll right before heading off to Chicago and I packed it in a box that could be sent out to me after I arrived if I so choose. Well, this turned out not to be the case as my trip was cut short, but upon return and unpacking there it was waiting for me in its little tin shell. So I quickly loaded that bad boy into my Lomo LC-A and got to shooting.
