Lomography teams up with Jones Soda for a competition that is sure to make you Pop!
by Ladies and gentlemen! Lomographers of all ages! Let us introduce to you, POP ’09!
Lomography has teamed up with beloved Seattle based soda makers, Jones Soda, to create one of the most POPular photo competitions yet! For the next 3 weeks, we are going to be looking for the most eye-catching, soda-label-ready images in the Lomographic universe. We want analogue images of the things, the places and the people that make you POP! Be it a foxy lady or Pop Rocks and Jones Cola on an empty stomach, pop open a roll of film and show us everything you’ve got. Each week, there will be a different theme that will fill your balloon with inspiration so you can Show Us What Makes You Pop! For each of the 3 themes, you will have a chance to be crowned as the King or Queen of POP and be one of 3 weekly grand prize winners or one of the 7 weekly runners-up to take home some amazing prizes, furnished by Jones Soda!
Here are the weekly themes:
Week 1 – Show us the Things that make you POP closed
Week 2 – Show us the Places that make you POP closed
Week 3 – Show us the People that make you POP
Jones Soda is your jury and will announce the winners of these sodawesome prizes!
9 Grand Prizes :
Each winner will have their eyePOPping photo grace 15,000 bottles! (That’s a whooping total of 135, 000 bottles of Jones Soda smothered in Lomographic goodness!)
An LC-A+ Camera
A Pop 9 Camera
A myjones case of the photographer’s winning bottle for every winner (to show your friends that you’ve gone global!)
