It's time to meet a new Lomo Friend once again! We introduce you to "grad":http://lomography.com/homes/grad - a self-confessed cross-process freak!
How is it – to live near the legendary Lomo factory? Have you ever been inside?
Just passed nearby on my bicycle a few days ago. My wish was to get inside and watch closely on the process of LC-A engineering, but it would be 10 years back in time. Unfortunately, regarding to the camera production line, currently there is not much left on the factory.
What are your hobbies besides photography/Lomography?
I used to make huge graffiti on the walls since 1998. Drawing less nowadays, but being full of hope to get back full steam.
What’s your favorite film to cross-process?
I am a cross-process freak, learning everything from personal experience. Experimented with loads of films and, of course, I have a top list of the favorites :) Having said that, films come and go and “favorite” title is being transferred among them depending on how moody was the day before :) Currently I prefer to use Kodak Elitechrome EBX, Kodak Ektachrome E100VS, Fuji Velvia 50 and Fuji Velvia 100.
Which is the best film about photography you can say a few words about?
Does vodka help to take perfect shots?
I don’t drink. I strongly dislike alcohol, smoking and drugs.
Square or rectangle?
Show us your favorite corner of your beloved city!
Living in a megapolis, I like nature a lot. So, the best places are parks and forests. I am mad even thinking about rivers and Finnish gulf – a part of the Baltic sea.
How does Lomography interfere with your everyday life? :)
Third part of my fridge are films and I’ve got tons of cameras on the shelves. In the summer I’ll celebrate my first year, working in Russian Lomography Embassy, so that Lomography can be counted in various parts of my life.
Tank or rollerblades?
I would go for a bicycle. It’s more charming then rollerblades and can be a good companion in a journey. War is a silly thing.
You see a Lomographer on the street. What would you do?
Well, I see Lomographers as a part of my everyday job :) But seeing a man with a Lomo camera on the street, I can’t hold a keen sincere smile :)
Now it’s grad’s turn to interview a friend – who knows, it could be you!
