What's in a Word? The New Lomographic Glossary

F-Stop, aperture, bokeh, what does it all mean?

Much is happening here at Lomography! A new site, new magazine, new homes and yes this is far from the end of things! You are already enjoying plenty of new features on beta and here is a preview of yet another thing soon to roll out of the Lomography Online Laboratory!

F-Stop, aperture, bokeh, what exactly are these things? Soon you will be able to find out with just a click as we are about to unveil the most complete glossary of photographic terms ever made! The cherry on top? Our glossary will not simply go over common photographic terms that you can find anywhere else; our glossary will include all the little vocab that some of you may already be fluent in – Lomographic terms & concepts!

So be it Splitzer, doubles, Lomowalls or colorsplashing (flashing) be sure that you will be able to find out exactly what this means! If you do not already speak Lomo, be sure that you soon will be able to.

Below you will find a list of terms already in the list (of course we have not included the explanations here – this is after all just a preview!). The Lomographic experts that you are, we would very much appreciate it if you guys could let us know if we missed a term or two! If yes please write so in the comments. Of course, it is all in alphabetic order!
