Lubitel Loves Velvia

I totally love this combination! Cross processed Velvia always makes me jump up and down with joy because the colours are sooo beautiful: pink, purple, red. And in combination with the Lubitel you can create wonderful masterpieces with this film.

I totally love this combination! Cross processed Velvia always makes me jump up and down with joy because the colours are sooo beautiful: pink, purple, red. And in combination with the Lubitel you can create wonderful masterpieces with this film.

Blue skies turn purple and grey and dull autumn days have a summer feeling because of the pink glow of the Velvia. People get a nicer skin colour and don’t look so pale. Everything just looks as if you had the perfect day wearing your pink sunglasses (not just when you’re in love g). And with the Lubitel you can play with the different settings, apertures, shutter speeds and with the depths of field! You can do doubles, create completely new sceneries. For me, this is a perfect team.

So you see, this camera is a very old one! It takes 120 medium format film and the images have a size of 6x9cm, either landscape or upright - depends on how you hold the camera. But the general handling of the Box allow rather upright than landscape pictures.

    1950s Agfa Clack The Agfa Clack was introduced in 1954 and built until 1965 by Agfa in Germany. The camera uses 120mm medium format film and creates pictures that are 6 to 9cm wide (so not the usual square pictures but landscape!). You get 8 pictures on one roll of medium format film, and those negs are HUGE!
