Sidekick Bag Features

• 2-in-1 Modular Design
  Just like the original Sidekick, the improved version features a 2-in-1 design. A small Camera Bag on the front clips to a Large Bag in the back. The Camera bag stores one or more Lomographic cameras with lighting-fast access via a velcro flap closure. A small internal pouch holds credit cards, business cards, and cold cash. The Large Bag holds all of your daily essentials and offers a bottom exterior storage flap and an interior zip pocket.
  Depending on your particular needs, these items can be worn together or separately – just affix the large adjustable shoulder strap as needed.

• Fabric
  The exterior is crafted with 100% Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) – water-resistant, lightweight, super-durable and environmentally friendly synthetic material. Now improved to prevent peeling and tough enough to last through even the hardest wear and roughest hand-washing. The interior is lined with smooth woven cotton fabric – like one of your favourite shirts without all the buttons and collars and such.

  Black as the night – thereby complimenting every outfit that you choose (even the superhero variety).

  People and their personal transport needs come in all different shapes, so we’ve cut the Sidekick TPE into 2 different sizes.

    Overall Size: 14″x12″x6″ (35×30×15cm)
    Camera Bag: measures 6.5″x12″x3″(16.5×30.7.5cm). Fits two Lomo LC-A, Actionsampler, Oktomat, or equivalent-sized cameras in its main pouches. The centre divider folds down to fit a Fisheye, Colorsplash, Holga, or Video Camera.
    Main Bag: measures 14″x12″x3″(35×30×7.5cm). Holds a notebook computer (up to 15″ screen width), large magazines, portfolios, or your thick and juicy Chemistry textbook.
  • Sidekick Lite Bag
    Overall Size: 12″x10″x5″(30×25×13cm)
    Camera Bag: measures 9.5″x7″x2.5″(24×18×6cm). Accommodates one Lomo LC-A, Actionsampler, Oktomat, or equivalent-sized camera on the left, and a slim electronic device (camera, Ipod, miniature singing garden gnome) on the right.
    Main Bag: measures 12″x10″x2.5″(30×25×6cm). Holds a few standard magazines, your absolute favourite novel, or that seriously expensive compact laptop.

Sidekick History & Family

Back in 2002, we introduced a new Lomographic bag concept with the name, “Sidekick.” Like a Robin to your Batman or a Sancho to your Don Quixote, the Sidekick Bag is the perfect companion for all of your daily adventures. In one go the Sidekick managed to fulfil a host of Lomographic Golden rules starting uncannily with no.1: “Take your camera Everywhere You Go”. Designed as two independent parts that can be worn together or separately, the Sidekick performs the double-duty of (1) keeping your all-important Lomographic cameras at a finger’s reach and (2) efficiently transporting all of your crucial daily items. When everything fits so conveniently around your shoulder, taking your camera everywhere becomes second nature. Thus, the ever-loyal Sidekick facilitated yet another crucial Lomographic Rule: “Lomography is not interference in your life – but a part of it”.

So began the beautiful friendship between the Lomographer and the Sidekick bag. The original TPE bag proved to be a massive hit within and beyond the Lomographic community – so much so that we’ve commissioned a re-animations of the original – the Sidekick Canvas and the Leather Sidekick bags and the more compact Lite editions. The improved Sidekick bag also comes Lite.
