Author/Writer/Copywriter/ Conceptionalist (English native speaker)

Job description:

Creation of concepts and texts for catalogues/books/web entries/instruction manuals/exhibitions/press releases/marketing texts – everything around Lomography in the broadest sense!

  • Camera descriptions/tips&tricks/history/instructions
  • Concepts and editorial texts, establishing an emotional, pictographic, creative and interactive linguistic “world” around all Lomographic cameras and products
  • About Lomography – updating and development of all standard texts regarding Lomography and the Lomographic Society International
  • About Lomographic projects – texts regarding all different creative and artistic projects developed by the Lomographic society international:

Some examples:

  • international competitions
  • city guides
  • exhibitions and exhibition tours
  • cooperations with artistic/cultural/socially active institutions (museums, media, publishing companies, non profit organisations, etc)
  • party – concepts
  • Lomoworld congress
  • cooperations with other brands: Flickr, Urban Outfitters, Absolut Vodka, The White Stripes etc.
  • other independent book projects and releases („Dianalogues“, LomoKikuyu, …)
  • and more…
  • Marketing texts (flyers, posters, folders, product catalogues, online newsletters etc…)

Requirements:

  • University degree in journalism, literature, art, art history, PR, communications, philosophy, theatre, film and media studies, scriptwriting, …

and/or

  • Experience in publishing/writing – work experience in other “creative industries”
  • Newspaper/Magazine (online/offline)
  • Blogs
  • Books & Catalogues
  • Marketing/Advertising texts

Employment: Full time

Location: Headquarters, Vienna, Austria

    I think I am well enough qualified and I would move to Vienna tomorrow. Except it would probably take more like a week and probably I would have some issues moving from the states? Anyone know how citizenship and things like that work?

    and also, im just saying for the future, as i may not be old enough, how would an american get a job working for lomography in wien.. i have strong hopes to return there after i am done with school, and i know german and all the things i need to survive there.. i just need a job..
