The Slovakian Lomographic team spread the word of Lomography during the Pohoda Festival 2008 held in Trenčín Bratislava.
With a new, but already now legendary, Lomomobil and a stand much like the one that you find on the market place, people were drawn like nails to magnets. During the 2 day workshop, people were allowed to borrow Lomography cameras for free and the festival was deemed a great success. Only one camera was lost and with the over 600 images that were taken a great summer festival gallery was created. The best picture was taken by Mirka Grešková who was awarded a Colorsplash Chakra for her efforts.

but it brings me to another question about lomography ... have a lot of my pics on sites where are mostly digital pics and people who believe what the producer of their digital cams tell them, that they make super pics if they buy the newest one ... blah ... they are always astonished about the high quality of my analoge pics and very interested in (my) lomography, which is for a lot of peoples here not "lomo-style" - but the other lomographers which are sometimes there are not of interest for the peoples there
would be nice to have a diskussion here about "what is lomo-style" and where does it go
for example with my accounts on german fotocommunity.de last year i had over 5000 visitors a month and with my actual stern.view account now also over 100 dayly

Mister Matej Žoldoš (also lomography.sk as a coperation with czechs lomography.cz) did a good job. He was a creator of the first lomowall in slovakia, it was situated in city Martin, i had also some pictures there (zenitars..., after the show and competition he sent me some expired films, it was nice act ;-)). He also managed the lomocar and went to the biggest slvak festival Pohoda. i wasnt there, iam not the fan of that type of music and i am afraid of that lot of junkies (hahahaa), but he was according lomo cameras and films (and also selling) there in lomography "station".
Matej is also lomographer, not just a businessman (lomohomes.com/lomojolo)
