@mattcharnock: Yes, that shot is great, but the gallery was made 3 hours before deadline, so there could have been other good shots among the last uploaded. It is a real shame we don't get to see them.

so here is the info. we looked at all the pictures, the time of the setting the gallery live doesnt have to do anything with the voting. actually this will change in the future. from next week on probably all the submissions will be shown instantly in a gallery, this way you can see how the gallery progresses. we then choose after 24 hours, thats also when the whole thing closes. i know that this was done differently in the past, but we feel that this is a more interesting way for you too, since you see how the current entries were.
