  • Melnrage 2. beach

    Melnrage 2. beach
If you like to walking on the beach and you are male, then all the beaches in Klaipeda are kind of small for you, but not because of the width, but because of the length. There is a silly system which I will try to explain you: every 200 meters on the beach there are beaches which are only for women.
  • Melnrage breakwater

    Melnrage breakwater
Well, this breakwater is the main one in Lithunia, because next to it there is a path from the Baltic Sea to the Kursiu Sea. You can come here anytime you want, day or night, but I offer you to come here during a storm.
  • Kėdainiai Old Town

    Kėdainiai Old Town
Right in the geographical center of Europe, lies a town, called Kėdainiai. At first glance, even to Lithuanians this town is an urban place, where people do make a lot of chemical stuff, do a lot of gardening (it is called the capital of cucumbers), but it is kind of unique with it's history and old-town. There is a thinking that the name of the town comes from one of the traders of the old times, Mr. Keidangen, who bought a small fishing port. Yes, the town lies on both sides of river Nevėžis, and the it has the 4th old town in Lithuania (only the major towns did rescue it during the wars).
  • Palanga Amber Park Museum

    Palanga Amber Park Museum
Amber is Lithuania's gold and this museum holds every kind of amber. This time we visited this park early in the morning, so we where alone. It's a nice feeling when you can hear only the birds and how waves are breaking in to the beach. Amber Museum Park is huge - it starts from the main street of Palanga town and goes till the beach.
  • Vilkija ferry place

    Vilkija ferry place
There are two ways to reach the Baltic coast of Lithuania traveling from the most of other lithuanian or european places. The first one and the fastest is the highway (lithuanian "autostrada"): higher speeds, two lanes and the journey lasts not so long.
  • Alnis Lake and Hydrographic Reserve

    Alnis Lake and Hydrographic Reserve
This interesting and beautiful place is located in the Aukštaitija regional park in the eastern Lithuania. Aukštaitija regional park is well known because of lovely forests and thousands lakes and rivers. The Alnis Lake is deep in the forest surrounded only by trees and nothing more. There is only breathtaking beauty of nature. You can climb on the top of the hill and to see clear like a glass water of this lake. This place is like paradise. There are few camping places where you can stay after pay some euros (I don’t remember the cost).
  • Nida

    Nida
If you want to have real leisure time, choose Nida. Please, take the map and find Lithuania. Do you see a small and thick land in the Baltic Sea? That's called the Kursiu Nerija and its center is the town of Nida. No busy people, no loud clubs (there are some, but not as the main places to visit here) - just pure landscape... Perfect for slide films near the beautiful places of sand, sea water and small town houses... quiet, but still interesting.
  • Rokiškis

    Rokiškis
If you ask Lithuanian people, "Do you know Rokiskis?" 9 of 10 will tell you that it has the mental institution-prison in Lithuania. To tell you the truth it was the only thing that I know about Rokiskis too. The trip to this city was unplanned and very interesting and surprising.
  • Das Dorf Alanta

    Das Dorf Alanta
(Please note, this article is in another language)
