• The National Memorial Site in Ravensbrück.

  
  The other day my boss said to me ‘Guiguiste, next weekend we are going to Germany to film a theatre production’.  I had no idea at the time that I was saying yes to going to a place, which is most probably one of the most moving places I have ever been to in my life.  That is .... The National Memorial Site in Ravensbrück. I would like to share my exceptional experience from this weekend with you, which has moved me so greatly and changed the way I feel and be able to revisit a part of our European history with you.

• Prerow

  
  Prerow is located in an area called "Darss", in the north of the state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the German side of Baltic Sea. The Darss is one of three parts of a peninsula called "Fishland-Darss-Zingst" from the names of the three areas. With its beautiful nature and an old forest most of this peninsula is a part of the German National Park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". The bay of Prerow is, well-known for fine and clean sand and for the "Seebrücke", the bridge on the see.

• Usedom

  
  Usedom is an island in the Baltic Sea whose biggest part lies in Germany. The eastern part belongs to Poland. Because a lot of the towns and villages are health resorts it’s kind of quiet there. But sometimes the only thing you need is to escape from the rest of your life.

  Wie jedes Jahr sind wir auch dieses Jahr im Sommer auf einen Kurztrip an die Ostsee gefahren. Dabei war unser Reiseziel das Städtchen Binz auf der Insel Rügen.
