Together with the windmills, tulips fields are the most famous landscape in the Netherlands. In 1593, the first tulip was placed in Dutch soil and since then the country has been in multi-coloured bloom.

Architecture rules volontarly broken make crazy cube houses in Rotterdam. The cube houses (or Kubuswoningen in Dutch) were built in 1984 by architect Piet Blom in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands. These could have been common houses if they hadn't been turned at 45 degrees and placed on concrete pylons!

Just a gracht like any other - or an unassuming place to take amazing photographs? No matter how many times I pass by this place, it never ceases to inspire me to take at least a photograph or two with whatever film camera I have with me that day. NDSM is a former shipyard in north Amsterdam and is the center for alternative culture these days. This vast area of 84,000 m2 makes up the NDSM Hall, workshops and artistic studios along with two big dimension cranes and two huge ship slipways.

This is a place to go if you want to experience something. You will not find any valuable antiques; you will not be overwhelmed by variety or the size of the market. You will find a small, very friendly, varied and interesting market.

For those who like animals, the Artis Zoo in Amsterdam is an amazing place to spend a beautiful day in! You really feel like you're in an oasis of peace at the heart of the city. At Artis Zoo, one can easily relax and only hear the animals living there, which are up to 700 species!

Fancy a day at the beach? Maybe Scheveningen is the place for you: You can go swimming or windsurfing, even bungee-jumping is possible at the pier. Or just get some ice cream and hang out in the sun or take a walk in the dunes.

If the sun is shining in Amsterdam go and enjoy the Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical garden in the world. Breathe the fragrances and lose yourself with the stunning surrounding.

Imagine a walk through downtown Eindhoven at night, killing half an hour to get to the cinema. Suddenly, you see light being projected from one end of the market square to the other and vice versa. Words were being projected on the ground and on buildings. Abstract shapes being projected over people - everything. When I looked down, I felt the ever-ready LC-A+ in my hands, which means there's only one thing to do now: SHOOT!

In the middle of the center, such a beautiful and calming place, I loved being there, walking around enjoying the sun.

Located in the middle of the Red Quarter, the Bulldog is one of Amsterdam’s most famous Institutions: it was one of the first coffee shop in town and one of the first hostel.

Utrecht is a wonderful city with enough things to see and do. But if you get tired from walking along the waterways running through the city, the busy shopping streets or sightseeing, you should take a break in a lovely park called het Griftpark.

One of my favourite things to do when I have some time to kill is going gnome hunting. Weapon of choice? My Holga 135 BC. Gnome hunting, you ask? Why yes. Graffiti gnomes, that is.
