  • My Most Memorable Travel Escapade in 2011

My Most Memorable Travel Escapade in 2011
My most memorable travel escapade in 2011 was a one-week hike through the Alps. I grew up in the south of Germany and my parents always took me to the Alps. They love to walk and I didn't. Now I live far away from from those huge mountains, in a medium-sized city. I actually started to miss them.

Schatzalp Davos, Switzerland - Slow Down, Take it Easy

Last year, a local association of artists made a performance of the famous Venice Carnival in Como, a town situated at the north of Italy near the Swiss border. A great work of art and culture, a great opportunity to photograph with my Zorki 5 and its unique retracting lens Industar 22!
  • Love, love, love

    Love, love, love
Love is in the air...everywhere! All these photos were taken on the lakes of Regio Insubria, a land between Switzerland (Region of Ticino) and the North of Lombardia. This region is full of wonderful lakes, which are also wonderful places to celebrate love and friendships!
  • Urban Deserts in Como, Italy

    Urban Deserts in Como, Italy
Urban deserts are terrible, sometimes worse than the real desert. One feels a sense of anger, frustration, and helplessness while he is seeing some environmental disaster, while he is passing near closed factories and abandoned buildings, walking around closed and impenetrable places that were once a source of social life. The camera is an excellent tool for raising awareness. Here I propose a few places in my city, hoping for a change.

  • Into the Wilderness - Haiming

    Into the Wilderness - Haiming
If you want to see an eerie place you have to go into the woods of Haiming, a little village near where I live, when dusk rises. Most of the trees there are gnarly pines which used to look like bad monsters in the growing dark – if you have a little bit of fantasy and imagination.
  • Silvretta-Bielerhoehe track

    Silvretta-Bielerhoehe track
Silvretta-Hochalpenstrasse-Bielerhoehe. The Silvretta-Hochalpenstrasse is one of the most favored and beautiful mountain roads of the Austrian Alps. It connects the Montafon in Vorarlberg with the Paznauntal in Tyrol. The highest pint is Bielerhoehe in 2030 m sea level. There you can find lots of possibilities to spend your time. The simplest one is to sit down in the restaurant Silvrettasee with its amazing view over the Silvretta Lake. A very special one is to make a boat tour on the Silvretta Lake with the motorboat. It is Europe's one and only motorboat traffic in over 2000m sea level.
