On August 6, 1945, an American B-29 bomber named the Enola Gay, dropped on Hiroshima, a powerful atomic bomb. In an instant, 80,000 to 140,000 people were killed and 100,000 more were seriously injured. Every year there is in Como, a public event to commemorate what happened. The event is held near the Monument to the Resistance at the lakeside gardens.

Every year, there is a great fun fair in my city, Como, in the period between the third week of March and the second week of April. There are many carousels and stalls and entertainment for all ages. Even this year, I took some photos of this public event, in a solo photowalk, tasting some of my preferred rides.

Every year in Como, some interesting flea markets pop up around the holidays and that's where I do my Christmas shopping. You can find crafts, paintings by local artists, food and household items, and even a wonderful Lubitel 2 that I bought for only one Euro!

And this year, for my spring and Easter break, I don't need to go very far because just a few miles from my house, there is a small lake on which one can go canoeing -- a "paradise" for amateur and sports club members.
