  You like animals, the sea, fishes... This place is for you! The aquarium of La Rochelle, one of Europe's biggest aquariums, was inaugurated in 2001 and contains 3 000 000 liters of sea water!

• Le Gurp Beach

  
  Le Gurp is a beach near the village Montalivet in south west France. This part of the French coast is famous for surfing and oysters. The whole area is surrounded by the so called _French badlands_ of only sand an pine tree woods. The Beach itself is fairly shallow but getting deeper about 15 meters into the water; a big wave is the result.

  El parque natural de las Landas es como un sueño para los amantes de la naturaleza y la playa. Kilómetros y kilómetros de playas vírgenes, campings escondidos entre el bosque, nada de edificación costera ni hoteles con orquesta... Es por eso que el parque natural de las Landas es Mi Rincón Favorito de Francia.
