Welcome to the second installment of my journey to Minor League Sports Nirvana. This article will have more of a cultural bend. The little town of Niles, Ohio has lost much of its luster from being part of the Steel Valley to now being merely a stopover for turnpike drivers. There is more to be seen here though.

So every summer, my husband and I have 3 months off from work and head back to our hometown of Buffalo, NY. By the end of three months, the cash always runs low, so here are a few of the things we did to keep the fun and the stories flowing.

The Niagara SkyWheel rises above it all. Oh man, that's the cheesiest intro I've written yet. But seriously, the SkyWheel rises above the cheese that is Clifton Hill. Hop in a climate-controlled passenger cabin and get a bird's eye view of the magnificent falls.

Niagara Falls is shared by both Canada and America, it surpasses the sums four of the Great Lakes through Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. These were taken in October 2011.

There's a lot to do in Niagara Falls but there's one attraction that was there before all the rest. Don't get caught up in the hype, get down to the water instead! Maid of the Mist is the aptly named boat ride that has been getting to the heart of the falls since 1846.

Das Niagara Riesenrad ragt über alles hinaus. Oh Mann, das ist die kitschigste Einleitung, die ich je geschrieben hab. Aber ehrlich, das Riesenrad ragt tatsächlich über Clifton Hill. Hüpf in eine der klimatisierten Kabinen und sieh dir die bezaubernden Wasserfälle aus der Vogelperspektive an!
