Maybe the most inspiring and romantic compositions Gaudi produced in his life.

Cool areas of Barcelona, starting on The Born, then Estacio de França and ending in the relaxing Parc de la Ciutadella.

When you visit Barcelona in Spain, among the must-see destinations is the beautiful church that is the Sagrada Familia. I took a lot of shots here on a recent visit and the ones I think are the most striking are those I took in black and white with my LC-A+.

Girona, or Gerunda as it was first named by the Romans, was founded in the I century B.C. The most beautiful part of the city is the Call, being this a Catalan word to designate a middle age Jewish ghetto.

After thousands and thousands of years of boredom, one day 'man' looked at the sky and decided to climb up. It was in Catalonia towards the end of the 18th century when 'man' took matters into his own hands and dared to touch the sky. That day the "Castells" tradition was born. More than 200 years later my LC-A captured this beautiful art and it is my duty to share it with you.

Spring time...a great season to visit Barcelona! Here some photos taken in black and white with my Lomo LC-A!

I haven't had so much experience with South-Europe so far. I was always more attached to the east and far-east. But Barcelona certainly changed my mind about what there is to expect from the south. I mean we don't even have to mention the food! I live with a Spanish girl and she constantly gets the finest oil and ham from her parents. And we don't have to mention the weather, I rather not, I live in Hamburg!

A visit to the sewers of Barcelona, yes, it’s possible to take a walk there under!!

Are you thinking about making a short visit to Barcelona? Here you can find out about my two-day trip! These were the sites that I chose to see in a 48-hour visit. It was worth it!

Feeling uninspired? Usher in the new year with a trip to Girona, a beautiful city to visit which offers not only a great escape from your boring daily routine but also makes for a very attractive subject for your next set of analogue photographs.

Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona through the VINÇON shop's window.

As what normally happens, you don't appreciate what you have in your city until you have to show it to a foreigner who comes to visit.

I’m sure that when you hear about Barcelona you will immediately think of Gaudi and modernist architecture (Sagrada Familia, Parc Güell, Casa Batlló…). But the truth is, Barcelona is full of modernist buildings that sometimes go unnoticed. Let’s give these works of art some justice and show off some of these not so popular places.

The Encants Vells Market is Barcelona´s biggest and at the same time, oldest flea market. With over 15,000 square meters of space and literally hundreds of little stands this is the perfect place to get lost with your camera.

The market of "La Boqueria" is a beautiful place in the centre of Barcelona, just located on the main Ramblas, mid-way between Plaça Catalunya and the seafront. Don't be afraid to enter in this crowded place, were the merchants are yelling around to sell their products (the best, of course) and where your eyes can contemplate fish & seafood, vegetables & fruits, fresh meat and a lot of other local productions of very great quality. Sure, that gives you hunger to see all this... in this case, go until the end of the market place, and before you come out, a little bit on your right, you'll found the "Bar de la Boqueria" who serves you all you want in typical specialities of Barcelona!! If you find a seat, take it quickly, a lot of people know this place, and once you're sitting at the bar, you don't want to leave the place until you've tasted a lot of the food you see under your eyes...!! Have a nice walk and a nice meal! And take pictures!! :))))

I was lucky enough to sneak a cheeky trip to Barcelona onto the end of my 2011. I had never been there before and thought that it was a wonderful place to photograph. Plus with the glorious sunshine that we were lucky enough to experience, we consider it as a huge bonus!

A museum with a stunning view, built for honoring a great, great artist.

The great Plaza de San Selip Neri, hidden away in the heart of the Gótico district, far from the bustle of the tourists but only a step or two from the eminently visitable Cathedral, conceals a sad story in its heart. Interested to know what it is? Read on!

You might know Salou, a town located at the coast of Tarragona, Spain. You may have even heard about Port Aventura, a theme park placed on the outskirts of Salou but what most of you may not be aware of is what happens in the park when October comes.
