This summer, I was lucky enough to spend two weeks touring around Bulgaria with three other people in a brand new Chevy! Over the next few articles, I am going to share with you some of my photos from that trip, place by place. Nessebar was somewhere that we went for a day trip as it was recommended by a Bulgarian friend as a beautiful place to see.

Before I went to Istanbul, I had no idea that there are so many cats in the streets! They are loved and petted by nearly all locals and tourists, and some look really majestic, not like normal street cats. I couldn't pass them without taking many pictures, and so I got a very huge cat gallery.

Anadolu Kavagi is the name of a little village on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, three hours from Istanbul with the zig-zag ferry.

There's no other place that best reflects the mystery and charm of Istanbul more than the Kybele Hotel. I consider it as a jewel box, filled with treasures. Its rooms are filled with genuine antiques and artwork collected over the years. From the handmade carpets covering its floors to the hundred unique lamps hanging from the ceilings, the atmosphere here will definitely enchant you.

Ortaköy, a nice place to visit in Istanbul. A good place to stop for tea or coffee, a snack or a meal, some boutique window-shopping or a rest.

On my last visit to Turkey, I decided to travel by train instead of the plane. Forty-eight hours has passed leaving me with lots of impressive pictures!

A well-known area in Istanbul that is filled with skyscrapers now but used to be just some empty field 50 years ago. Maslak, is considered as the "skyscraper district" of Istanbul and is literally filled with tall, tall buildings with a lot of elegant business people hanging around.
