At the heart of Naples, in the neighborhood of the Fuorigrotta, we find the San Paolo Stadium that serves as a regular venue in the league matches to the SSC Napoli.
  • Naples

    Naples
The first impression when you are in Naples is 'dirt', 'chaos', 'disorder'. As you get used to it, you start enjoying the city. If you are brave enough to drive, you will probably notice that the traffic chaos is in fact a super-efficient way of moving along the city. You do not have to panic when are completely surrounded by Vespas or when in a two lane street there are three rows of car (or even more!).
  • My Most Memorable Travel Escapade in 2011

My Most Memorable Travel Escapade in 2011
My summer of 2011 ended with an amazing trip to Sorrento, Italy. It was without a doubt, my most memorable travel escapade of 2011 - possibly the most memorable travel escape I will ever have! Read on to see what made it so memorable.
  • The Last Days of Pompeii... or the Start of Lomography?

The Last Days of Pompeii... or the Start of Lomography?
When I was very young (11 year old) I took some photos of Pompeii. These photos were taken with a Kodak Instamatic camera, with the eye of a child. Back in 1976, Lomography was still unknown, but these old photos are taken in this style. Maybe the beauty of Lomography is to take photos with the style of a very young boy?
  • Ancient Ruins through the Lomo Lens: Pompeii

Ancient Ruins through the Lomo Lens: Pompeii
How many times when you visit an archaeological site of some kind, do you see tourists weighed down by their heavy camera gear? Leave the digital grind behind, sling a Diana F+ around your shoulders, slip a couple of additional lenses into your pocket, and see those ancient monuments from a different perspective.
  • Pretty Pristine Pompeii

    Pretty Pristine Pompeii
How can a city destructed by a catastrophic eruption of a mighty volcano be beautiful?
  • LomoLocations: Vesuvius National Park

    LomoLocations: Vesuvius National Park
My holiday to Sorrento wouldn't have been complete without a trip to the crater of the ever present Mount Vesuvius. It's not the easiest walk on a hot day but the views are worth it and with the right camera, if the weather allows, you'll capture some spectacular panoramas.
  • Out To Sea: Sorrento, Capri, and Amalfi

Out To Sea: Sorrento, Capri, and Amalfi
Deciding to get married in Italy gave me the chance to visit some of the most beautiful coastlines I have ever seen. Not only was Sorrento itself amazing but short trips out to sea gave me the opportunity to see Capri and the even more stunning Amalfi Coast.
  • From Naples to Capri: My First Adventure in Black and White

From Naples to Capri: My First Adventure in Black and White
It was October 2010, I was living in Perugia and didn't know what to do for a week. That's when I decided to put on my backpack and get to know the Campania, one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. The first stop of my adventure was Naples, the capital. The second was Capri, the Island of Love.
  • Awesome Pizza at Pizzeria Aurora

    Awesome Pizza at Pizzeria Aurora
Pizza is one of my favorite foods. Freshly-made traditional Italian pizza is even better. I only had one when visiting Sorrento in Italy but I might very well have picked the best!
  • Pompeii

    Pompeii
The city of Pompeii is certainly a sight to behold. My sole reason of staying in the Campania region was to visit this infamous site. Having been buried in meters and meters of volcanic ash and pumice way back in 24 August 79, the city was recently discovered sometime in the 1700's and since then massive excavation work has ensued to bring forth this lost civilization still preserved and fresh as the day it was built.
  • Wedding Spot: Chiesa Di San Francesco

Wedding Spot: Chiesa Di San Francesco
If like me your ideal wedding does not involve hundreds of guests, packed out churches, and big ceremonies then why not go abroad? It's not as expensive, you can keep the numbers down and if you look around, you can find a simply stunning location. For this piece I present the Chiesa Di San Francesco.
  • Ravello

    Ravello
Ravello has the most divine panoramic view of Italy! Ravello is situated near the Amalfi coast, in Italy, near Naples, on a splendid position, on a rocky spur astride the Dragon's and Reginna's Valleys. Ravello was an important town of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, an important trading power in the Mediterranean between 839 and around 1200. But when the people from Pisa attacked and sacked it, a slow decline began.
  • Capri

    Capri
As long as I remember I've always wanted to visit this island. I finally had the chance last April while on a trip with friends. We stayed in Sorrento, so Capri was easily accessible by ferry boat. We were rushing about enjoying the other sights of the Campania region and just managed to catch the last boat to the island.
