Great Falls Park is situated along the banks of the Potomac River in Northern Virginia and is part of the George Washington Memorial Parkway. It is one of my favorite places to visit, no matter the season.

The Tome School for Boys, located in Port Deposit, Maryland, was founded by Jacob Tome as a preparatory school for boys; and it first opened in 1894.

This abandoned prison in Philadelphia housed some of America's most infamous gangsters, including Al Capone. Full of its fair share of spooky stories and escape attempts, this massive complex is now classified as a 'living ruin'. With a favor from a friend, I was given behind-the-scenes access to some of the closed off areas and here are the results!

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a two week event in the spring that celebrates the gift of Japanese Cherry Trees to the United States. The Cherry Blossoms are planted in an area that stretches from the Washington Monument, to the Jefferson Memorial, and to the Tidal Basin. There’s even a small stone Japanese Pagoda at the Tidal Basin.

The US Army Ordnance Museum is the finest armored vehicle museum in the world, housing numerous vehicles form around the world, dating from the First World War to modern day exhibits.
