The Denver Museum of Nature and Science never fails to capture my imagination. My two-year-old daughter might be the excuse for our need to visit, but I always find something new to love it each time I go. With several great permanent exhibits and a large area dedicated to various rotating featured exhibits, there is always a new reason to go and be inspired.

The AWP (or Association of Writers and Writing Programs) is a weekend conference held in a different city each year. Due to landing an upcoming editing job through my university (SOU), I was lucky enough to receive student funding to attend this years conference, held in the convention center in Denver.
