  • Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

    Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
Golden Gate Park is a large rectangular park located in San Francisco. The park is modeled after Central Park in New York and Lincoln Park in Chicago. The area offers lakes, gardens, museums, and an indoor greenhouse containing rare flora and fauna. It is an excellent place for locals and visitors alike to spend the day and get away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco proper.

Golden Gate Park's outdoor Botanical Gardens and the indoor Conservatory of Flowers are two amazing places to visit that you can't believe are in the middle of an urban city. There are incredible plants from all over the world.
  • Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

    Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
When the day isn't just right to hit the beach - the fog has nestled into the sand, there are a few too many sink-nosed sunbathers, or you've become a bum and just have to get off the beach - the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the perfect place to take in some fun.
  • Alcatraz prison

    Alcatraz prison
Alcatraz is a small island across from the city of San Francisco. It used to be a place for the criminals who had committed a very serious crime, such as Al Capone. Now this place has become a tourist spot. It is very cold there and it's really even not far from the city, but this place makes you feel a bit creepy and lonely at the same time. This place is pretty old but they are doing a very great job to preserve a lot of old buildings and old facilities. It's like a museum where you can walk around and explore on your own. The museum provides the tourists with all the information one could need and also with information assistant if necessary. For example, the assistant narrates about this place and also guides you around where to go. There is a very well done graphic map that keeps you from getting lost. Is it a fun place to go? No, I think this place would be more educational and adventurous. When I got out of this place I felt that, I will never do anything wrong and end up in the prison like
  • Santa Cruz beach

    Santa Cruz beach
The famous Santa Cruz beach of Northern California is an awesome Lomolocation all year-round. Though the summer might be a little too crowded due to the lively and always animated boardwalk, the environment is still great and fun.

  • Rave Festival (San Francisco)

    Rave Festival (San Francisco)
This is not such a nice festival for a kid to go but for me, I won't miss it if I have a chance to attend one of them. Dj, trance music, rave, light show, argon laser beam, visual - all of these elements is what I love about raves. SF is one of the cities that has a best rave event to attend.
  • Golden Gate Park Festivals

    Golden Gate Park Festivals
When the autumn's Indian Summer hits San Francisco, the only place to be is outside and at a festival in Golden Gate Park. Speedway Meadows fills up with thousands of peace-loving folk and the air becomes saturated with rhythm, song, dance, hoola-hooping, flowers in your hair, positive energy and a lot of that funky green smoke.
  • Provo River

    Provo River
The Provo River is not necessarily located in Provo, Utah. Though it runs through the city of Provo, the most visited areas of the river are long before the river reaches the city. This river is considered one of the best trout rivers in the US, for good reasons.
  • Marin Headlands

    Marin Headlands
Located just across the Golden Gate Bridge on the Marin side (so not San Francisco for all you non-locals), the Marin Headlands offer some of the most scenic trials, beaches, and historic sites to explore in the Bay Area. Spectacular views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge are everywhere on a clear day. The Headlands are easily reached by taking the last exit before the Golden Gate Bridge if you are coming from Marin.
