    タイトルだけでこの島がどのような島か想像がつくと思います！宮城県石巻市の太平洋に浮かぶこの島は、人々から猫の島と呼ばれています。猫の島と呼ばれるくらいで沢山の猫と島民の人々が仲良く暮らしています。人口100人程のこの島はひょっこりひょうたん島のモデルになっているそうです。
