Scottish Southerners: A Scottish Festival in Alabama
Over the weekend, my family went to a local Scottish festival. To them, it was just a nice Saturday morning outing. For me, it was a lomographic opportunity!
  • Rock Quarry (Nashville, Tn)

    Rock Quarry (Nashville, Tn)
In the seemingly boring, middle-of-nowhere Tennessee, there is a rock company off the interstate and if you sneak past the fences and no trespassing signs, and make it past the driveway you will find the most beautiful quarry you have ever seen. The bluest water in Nashville and huge rock formations to climb and jump off of. Just don't get caught.
  • Southeastern Railway Museum

    Southeastern Railway Museum
The Southeastern Railway Museum is a hidden gem for Lomographers and sits right outside Atlanta. It houses over 75 extinct trains, many of which you can walk through. You get a day's pass and can come and go as you please!
  • Downtown Marietta, Georgia: A Lomographic Treasure!

Downtown Marietta, Georgia: A Lomographic Treasure!
A short 20-minute car ride north of Atlanta, Georgia lies the slightly older city of Marietta. Yes, older. Older, and chock full of history. During the American Civil War, Marietta was the last thing keeping General Sherman from burning Atlanta to the ground (that's for those of you who haven't seen "Gone With the Wind") and a fierce, ugly battle was fought here. Nowadays it's a lively, attractive city with things to do nearly every weekend in the summer and a ton of stuff to photograph.
  • Bonnaroo (Manchester, Tn)

    Bonnaroo (Manchester, Tn)
Off the internet somewhere in Manchester, TN there is a big field that for 360 days of the year seems like an ordinary field but for 4 crazy days in the summer, thousands of people show up with tents and campers for the Bonnaroo music and arts festival. Peace loving, earth saving, music crazy people from all over the country come to experience the festival and by end of the 4 days everyone smells like dirt and is too tired to think straight but the experience is worth it. From the giant mushroom fountain to the $6 ice cream bars and awesome jam bands, bonnaroo is not a weekend to miss.
  • Spring

Quick picture moment before grocery shopping for dinner with my sister and a friend. This clearly shows how everyday things can be interesting too as long as you take the time to appreciate it.

Fotografía de un instante antes de ir a la compra para la cena con mi hermana y una amiga. Demuestra con claridad cómo las acciones más cotidianas pueden ser interesantes si nos paramos a dedicarles un momento para apreciarlas.
