To those who live elsewhere and to some who live even closer, the thought of Tulsa, Oklahoma stirs up ideas of oil and cowboy hats or Native Americans, farmland, and the historic "Mother Road", Route 66. Here's another side of Tulsa captured through film photography.

It took me about 10 years to figure out Tulsa, but I believe I am ready to tell you about some of this town's coolest areas. Instead of going through the suburban routine, let me show you some of Tulsa's real character and uniqueness. From the huge golden man looking over the fairgrounds, to my favorite secret locations on Riverside, Tulsa is a great place for any lomographer looking for inspiration.

I recently made a visit to the Sri Ganesha Hindu temple in Nashville, TN and it was quite the experience. The amazing and unique building stands a top a hill off on the side of the road and it is so unlike anything in that area that it is impossible to miss.

It's early autumn and there are still plenty of leaves on the trees, most of them still green. The temperatures are perfect for a hiking trip with your friends, family or even your dog. Lucky for me, Arkansas has plenty of places to do see, one of them is Devil's Den State Park.
