There's this park two stops from Shibuya station on the Tokyu line that is definitely worth visiting if you want to take a break from busy busy Tokyo. Full of trees, public pool(during the summer of course), a huge old train, a small train for kids, even a skate ramp with real pool coping is just a few things this park has to offer!!
  • Be Magical at Tokyo Disneyland!

    Be Magical at Tokyo Disneyland!
A fun lomography day at one of the most magical places on Earth, Tokyo Disneyland! Call it peer pressure, but after much convincing I finally gave in and joined my colleagues on spending a day with Mickey Mouse and company at Tokyo Disneyland. To be honest, I wasn't that interested, thinking that Disneyland was just for kids, but boy, was I dead wrong.
  • Rt. 507 Sagamihara

    Rt. 507 Sagamihara
Not too far from where I rest my head, lies the Rt.507 tunnel. I don’t know what it is about this spot that gives me chills, but I’ve driven by this place a handful of times. And I just think how rad it would be just to wander around this tunnel.
  • Fussa (Tokyo)

    Fussa (Tokyo)
Fussa is the Brooklyn of Tokyo. It's not a city, it's a community. It's the most international community in all Tokyo and I would even go so far as to say that it's the most international part of Tokyo. You can walk into any bar in Fussa on any night and make instant friends.

Last winter, on the way to Seoul from Paris, I stopped by Tokyo for just one day.
  • Tokyo Disney Sea Park

    Tokyo Disney Sea Park
The place to go is Tokyo Disney Sea Park in Japan. The rides are great and the Lomographic opportunities are endless. For the thrill seekers there is the "Tower of Terror", for the little ones there are lots of tiny ferry's wheels and the like. There are so many different parts of Disney Sea Park that you can easily get lost.
  • Shooting at the speed of Lomographic sound

Shooting at the speed of Lomographic sound
I went into the Chicken Shack ready to have my ear drums blasted to smithereens. I wanted to get some of that funk, punk, power chord electric sound that only bands at the Chicken shack can create on film; it was much too dark and the beer made everything fuzzy and chaotic. Still, I had my LC-A loaded with some luscious reversal film and all I kept thinking about was XPRO madness that result from the shots I was taking. If lomography were a Live House it would be called the Chicken Shack and if Lomography was a band it would play there.
  • Narita

The place that you must see when landing in Japan is not the hi-tech city of Hello Kitty, but instead the view of rice fields and the pace is slow. The location you should see is Narita, Japan. Narita city is located next to Tokyo's International Airport and is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the big smoke. Narita is packed with temples and tradition. Sushi restaurants are plentiful and the locals are friendly.
  • Odaiba

The place to visit is Odaiba, Japan. Odaiba is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay and the spot for many great Lomographic shots. There is a man made beach, lots of shopping as well as weird attractions like the Tokyo TV building which a sphere shaped building or the miniature statue of liberty with Rainbow bridge as the backdrop.
  • Tokyo Sky Tree

    Tokyo Sky Tree
Tokyo's hottest and higest place to be is the bulding "Tokyo Sky Tree". It's just the largest tower, in Tokyo! Only shyscrapers half the size were built before and it is the perfect place to get the best view not in an airplane. Check it out!
  • A Stroll through Meiji Jingu, Japan

A Stroll through Meiji Jingu, Japan
When I went to Tokyo this winter, I had the pleasure of going to Meiji Jingu (Meiji Shrine). The place is so magnificent and huge, and you can easily spend a couple of hours just walking around and taking it all in, even if it meant braving the winter cold.

¿Qué te parecería si te invitaran a desayunar sushi?
