Hike on a historic World War II remnant and get a great workout with a view. Koko Head Crater trail is 1.5 miles from parking lot to the summit with an elevation of 1200 feet. The site was a supply system for a United States Air Force Station that brought troops and supplies up a cinder cone volcano during World War II. The remaining railroad ties act as the stairs that will assist you up the hill. This hike challenges you with a steep climb, but offers incredible views of Eastern Oahu.
