Taking advantage of the weekend, my friends and I went on a road trip to the beaches of Luzon! We ended up drove all the way to Pangasinan and saw the various beaches including the Hundred Islands and San Juan, La Union, but we stayed here in Bolinao.

My favorite spot to get some or most of the sun? I can only think of one place, to go up North and head to our family's ancestral house in Bani, Pangasinan. Surip is located at the westernmost part of the municipality along the South China Sea. As stated in their website, Surip is ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling, and recreational fishing. Different species of tropical fishes and lobsters abound this area.

The 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo is known as the second largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century. The explosion came after almost 500 years of slumber and dumped billions of tones of volcanic debris that buried entire farm communities, killed hundreds of people, and changed the world's climate.

The Philippines is not that well-known for its surfing spots but ideal locations are slowly sprouting up and being discovered and unearthed one by one. The nearest one to Manila would be Zambales, a 3 hour drive north.

Um das Wochenende auszunützen, beschlossen meine Freunde und ich einen Road Trip zu den Stränden von Luzon zu machen!
Es endete damit, dass wir den ganzen Weg nach Pangasinan fuhren und uns die verschiedenen Strände inklusive der hundert Inseln und San Juan, La Union, angesehen haben.
Wir sind aber trotzdem hier in Bolinao geblieben.
