  • Weird Easter Tradition

    Weird Easter Tradition
It is a little bit weird so don't laugh, please. Well, my family had this old tradition: hiding a lot of eggs over the house for the kids for searching and then later seeking them. The kids work the whole morning till they find the eggs and eat them. But you ask, "Ok, but everybody does it". The difference here is, the Easter character isn't the rabbit (here you can see our rabbit that loves another holiday, the rabbit thinks he is Santa, but well, he had his own problems, ok?). So, back to my history, our Easter character is that little dwarf like creature from "Snow White movie". Do you know him? That very little and very old person who saved the Snow White from a terrible fate: the wedding with that boring prince from a sort of kingdom about what you never heard before. Anyway, they are the little guys who deliver theses delicious chocolate eggs and stuff to the kids of my family. It's weird, but it's true. They live in our garden working on some stuff around the year, but during the Easter they prepare and hide the eggs for us. You can search for those little guys right here, near my house in Taubaté, Sao Paulo: the Taubaté's Horto Municipal (city garden), a beautiful garden and rain forest animals' sanctuary, with little lakes and a lot of bushes and small trees, a perfect place to hide some chocolate eggs for your children or spend your time with Lomography.
